That’s it. There’s no recurring subscription, no card on file, and no monthly fee. Activation is a one-time Ko-fi tip — pay once, use the picks as you need them over the year.
Why the free tier is 300 comments, not 50
Most giveaway picker tools choose a small free cap (50–100 comments) because it forces serious creators to pay quickly. We picked 300 because that’s the size of a real giveaway on a small-to-mid creator account. If the free tier doesn’t cover your actual use case, it’s a demo, not a tool.
The practical effect: if you have a 280-entry giveaway on a 4k-follower niche account, you never need to pay. If you have a 12,000-entry brand giveaway on a 200k-follower account, the math on $4.99 vs “subscribe” pays for itself in the first draw.
How to use the free tier — full walkthrough
- Open igcommentspicker.com. No signup screen.
- Paste your Instagram post URL.
- Leave the dropdown at 300 comments (the default).
- Click Fetch Comments. The progress card shows live count.
- When comments load, apply filters. The eligible count updates live.
- Click Pick a Winner. The reel animation runs, locks on the winner.
- Copy the @username, screenshot the card, announce.
What about a free Instagram giveaway picker wheel?
The slot-reel animation IgCommentsPicker uses is functionally the same thing as a spinning-wheel picker — it’s a visual reveal of an already-determined random choice. Wheels feel familiar from raffles; slot reels feel familiar from contests and casino-style reveals. Both are equally fair when the underlying RNG is cryptographic (which ours is). What if I’ve already paid and need to activate Pro?
Click ⚡ Activate Pro in the top-right of the tool, enter the email you used on Ko-fi, and your Pro picks are loaded. The activation is stored locally — no account needed.

Is the free Instagram giveaway picker really free, or trial-free?
Truly free. There’s no time limit, no “first 3 draws” trial, no email gate. The 300-comment cap is the only constraint, and most giveaways fit well inside it.
Do you sell my data?
No. We don’t require an account, we don’t take payment from users directly (Ko-fi handles that), and we don’t track which Instagram posts you fetched comments from beyond the rate-limit counter.
Why use a one-time Ko-fi unlock instead of a subscription?
Most creators run 1–4 giveaways a year. A subscription is the wrong shape for that usage. A pay-once Pro pack matches how you actually use the tool.
